IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO RECYCLE - THAT'S WHY THE PYTLIKOVNA WAS BORN.
While recycling is undoubtedly the way to go, minimising waste and helping to save natural resources that would otherwise be needed to produce new products, if we continue to increase the amount of plastic we use at the current rate, soon even recycling won't be enough. This has already happened with the recycling of paper cartons. Millions of tonnes of them are waiting in vain to be processed after use. On top of that, on average, paper cannot be recycled more than 10 times, and the process is also water and energy-intensive. So, while it's wonderful that recycling one tonne of paper can save around 17 trees, what good is it if the recycling cannot keep up with prodution?
